UNE’s Eco-Rep work-study program advances awareness of campus environmental concerns 和 initiatives through peer education 和 leadership 和 encourages environmentally responsible behavior of campus residents, 通勤者, 教师, 专业人员. Positions are available during the school year 和 in the summer.

Eco-Reps are integrally involved in developing 和 implementing communications strategies 和 doing the work of the programs managed by the Office of 可持续性, 包括以下项目:

可持续性实习
可持续性 internships are available for credit (through the CAS Internship Office), 无薪, during the academic year 和 for credit, 带薪, during the summer (mid-May to late August).

Interns will assist the assistant director of 可持续性 with the following:

- Coordination of the community garden
- Collection 和 analysis of UNE’s environmental indicators
- Creation of educational 和 publicity materials for sustainability initiatives 和 engagementing in related communications activities, 比如在社交媒体上发帖
- Assistance with sustainability Trailblazer orientation events
- Development of energy conservation 和 食用校园倡议 projects
- Assistance with recycling program as needed
- Data entry for greenhouse gas emissions inventory

There are a variety of sustainability-related projects in which CAS students may engage in order to fulfill the civic engagement component (volunteer hours) of the Citizenship Seminar graduation requirement. 这些项目的例子包括:
